グッチがSNSで寄付呼びかけ。新型コロナ対策で200万ユーロ以上を寄付

新型コロナに負けるな！「ファッションの力」とは…
世界に広がり、終息の糸口が見えない新型コロナウイルス問題。このパンデミックに立ち向かうべく、グッチは2つのクラウドファンディング キャンペーンを通して寄付を行うことを正式に発表した。
すでにグッチは、イタリア・トスカーナ地方からの要請を受けて、医療従事者に提供するため、100万枚以上の医療用マスクと5万5000着の防護服の製造を開始。
「WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER」と称するグローバル コミュニティに向けた寄付を促すアクションは、それに次ぐ取り組みとなる。

ひとつは、グッチが本拠地とするイタリア国内で、国家市民保護局のあらゆる活動の支援を目的にしたもの。
そしてもうひとつは、Facebookが世界規模で展開するマッチングキャンペーンを通じて、世界保健機関(WHO)の活動を支援すべく、COVID-19連帯対応基金への寄付を募るものだ。

We Are All in This Together. Gucci stands with its global community to fight the #Covid19 pandemic by making two separate donations to crowdfunding campaigns. Locally, in Italy where the company is based, a 1 million euros donation to the Italian Civil Protection Department #DipartimentoProtezioneCivile in partnership with @intesasanpaolo’s #ForFunding platform to reinforce Italy’s health services and to source new ICU beds. Globally, Gucci donated 1 million euros to the United Nations Foundation’s Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund in support of the World Health Organization @who through Facebook’s US$10 million Matching Fundraiser to monitor and collect data on the spread of the virus to strengthen ICUs across the world, supply protection equipment to health personnel and fast-track the creation of vaccines and therapies. The initiatives are captured in an original illustration gifted by Rome-based artist @mp5art, a person who holds their hand on their heart a message of human solidarity. “Gucci has created a world, open and free: a Gucci global community. We ask all of you to be the changemakers in this crisis, to stand together with us in the fight against the Coronavirus. クリエイティブ・ディレクターであるアレッサンドロ・ミケーレと社長兼CEOのマルコ・ビッザーリは、
「お互いに支え合い、最も弱い立場にある人々を助けることで、私たちはこの危機を乗り越え、これまで以上に団結することができる」と語っている。
グッチはすでに、各々のクラウドファンディングに100万ユーロ（約1億2000万円）ずつ、計200万ユーロの寄付を行った。
そしてマルコ・ビッザーリは、自身の故郷であるイタリア・ロマーニャ州の都市、レッジョエミリアにある8つの病院の集合体「Ausl IRCCS」に10万ユーロ（約1180万円）を個人名義で寄付している。
今まさに全力をあげて、“祖国”と世界を支えるべく、奮闘している。
